One album that I have really been enjoying lately is Jeremy Riddle's new album The Now And Not Yet




The track Prayer For The Churchreally speaks to me. Are we really moving and acting as Christ? Are we courageous... are we focusing on the right things? I really believe the local church is the hope of the world. This song is a great reminder of what we should be doing.

Christ Is Risenis a great declaration of God's power. We sing about Christ's sacrifice in christian worship all the time. We sing about His blood shed, His pain, His agony. What I like about this song, is that it focuses on the praise and celebration we have in the fact that He rose from the grave! That's where the power is, that's where Christ redeemed us.

hmmmm yes. I think it is time to begin my new cd project! Well first things first, need to look at purchasing some new gear. I am really thinking that this is tha shizzle my nizzle....

Sunday Set List: Easter Morning

Wow what a morning! I saw a lot of new faces, and a few that hadn't been there in a while. I guess Easter morning is the time when everyone comes back to their roots.
We had an amazing time of worship, and the team did a great job! I know that third service was something that we are all not used to, but everyone really came through.

We had some really rockin' praise, as well as some great moments of worship. We started off with a new series One Month to Live
We will all be reading along together through the daily devotionals.
On Sunday's we are following the last days of Christ ministry and we were reminded of the fact that our days here on earth are numbered. If you only had a month left to live, how would you be spending it? I picked that Tim McGraw song because it really sums up the feeling that you better be doing what matters most to you on a daily basis. What matters most in your life? What matters most to God? It's about the eternal not the physical. Over all I think that it was just a "Journey" morning. We showed up, God showed up, and some lives were touched by Him. Here's the set of songs we played:

Keepin my eye on this one! Hopefully it will be more affordable than the Aviom stuff. I would love to get a whole setup for the band! This system looks worlds better than the aviom or hearback products. I think they are releasing in May sometime!
